Colombia Narina - Finca El Eucalipto
A well balanced body with delicious fruit flavours, dried fruits such as apricot and mango. Flavours of chocolate sauce, red berry compote and honey add to the sweetness which produces a delicious cup.
This coffee comes from the Caturra variety, which is a mutation of Bourbon, discovered in Brazil in 1937. It's yields are relatively high, though it has the capacity for overbearing. This Variety has been especially popular in Colombia and Central America, though it is still fairly common in Brazil. There are both red and yellow variations and it is a low growing variety, often referred to as dwarf or semi-dwarf, popular as it is easier to pick by hand.
